@Jynx @Oh the course is called Certificate IV of Information Technology like I’ve mentioned before lol
oh btw my support worker who’s my age currently works at two jobs (one including support working) + is currently a uni student doing her honours degree and I honestly can’t even imagine being in her position like that lmao
I’m low-key or high key jealous of people my generation being able to have a job, let alone more than one job 😭 If only I have the mental capacity to be able to work at all….

@Blackcloud yeah for real, I will never understand it. My lil AuDHD ass ain't got time or energy for that!! Sounds like a short cut to burn out!!
I do totally get the jealousy, it'd be cool to be able to accomplish soooo much more than what my body actually allows. I have to remind myself sometimes that most folks who do that end up paying for it later.... Gimme the quiet life, pls and thank 😅

@Jynx @I have volunteering tomorrow morning that I need to go to. I decided to switch department roles for that one - from Pick Packing to rework (rework is more like sorting out and packing all the food donations into smaller boxes). The reason why I didn’t attend the volunteering there for a while, but yet I managed to tell the manager about me wanting to switch roles, it wasn’t because of the role itself it’s just the people (other Friday volunteers) in pick packing in general that just….you know 🤷♀️ but also because with pick packing you always need to work with either one person or two other people and I hate that because as someone who has never made a proper friend in any social situations I always have to either wait for a teacher or another volunteer whose older to ask if me and another person can pair up, or I’d need to go and ask someone if I can work with them… -.-

@Blackcloud yeah gotta be the right people hey! So the rework will be more solo times? Can you like, listen to music or a podcast or anything like that?

@Jynx @yeah for rework you won’t need to ask someone if you can work with them or anything, the role is pretty similar to what I did for the hamper packing just 2 days ago when I volunteered at the same organisation but in a different location. And no I don’t think youre supposed to listen to anything whilst doing your role because you do need to hear what other people especially the bosses are saying

@Blackcloud aww bugger, that would've been cool! Well I'm glad you don't have to get peopley if you don't have to tomorrow!!

@Jynx @Just thought it’d be a fun question for me to ask haha, but have you volunteered before or are currently volunteering?
If you haven’t, have you ever thought of wanting to volunteer? And If yes, where at? 🙂

@Blackcloud I haven't for a while, but I did a couple years volunteering with ARCVIC! They're super wonderful, I even got some experience facilitating a support group! I think if I was ever to do volunteer work again though it'd have to be like, animal rescue or something! I just love animals too much hehe

@Jynx oh nice! Well I hope I'll be able to volunteer with FoodBank for a few years too! I started volunteering there since April of last year. But yeah, I guess regarding my couple of absences from the volunteering due to mainly not wanting to continue volunteering there for the time being, guess I should've told my manager about me wanting to switch to a different role already by then lol! but oh well :,) I just had to pretty much wait until it was the right time for me to email him about it xP
