I hope this is alright. Please delete if inappropriate.
I’m feeling a little hurt.
It goes to show how inconsiderate my parents are. We all watch ‘I’m a celebrity get me out of here’. We missed it last night as we got home too late. So instead of waiting for me to come back from my swim they watched while I was a the beach. They couldn’t wait an hour. Now they will want to watch tonight’s but I need to watch last night first. It shows what my parents are really like.
I know this is dumb and I’m stupid for being a little upset about it. I think it’s all just starting to get too much.
Sorry for sharing a little bit about how I’m feeling. There’s lots more but I don’t want to get into more trouble.

Hiya @Captain24 😁
There's nothing dumb or stupid about being upset by exclusion. Just a gentle reminder - we evolved to be social. Our survival systems are wired into our attachment systems (for lack of better phrasing lol don't tell any neuroscientists!!) which basically means being excluded can make us feel like we're gonna die. So your distress is EXTREMELY VALID darlin, that's no fun at all.
If you wanna talk about the 'lots more' I'm right here with ya - you're always welcome to share your feelings hun, no matter how dark or dire. It's sooo so easy for me to quickly edit your post and I would inform you via email very gently and support you in understanding why - if it came to it.
No pressure of course, all things in their time - and we want you to feel safe!!

It’s good to know that my feelings are valid. @Jynx. It’s the little things that are hurting me right now.
I wish I was more confident and felt safe enough to share. But I guess I just have to hold on to it even though it’s eating me away.
I went to the beach today even though the weather was drizzly and 17 degrees. I was the only one there for about 15 minutes and then someone else turned up.

@Captain24 oh I actually love a cloudy beach day, when all the clouds are stacked on the horizon like that!! And the patterns the rain makes in the sand is nice too 😌
I flicked you an email just so ya know.
Do you reckon you'll get another sunny arvo? Or the forecast a bit bleak?
yesterday
I’m hoping it’s a nice afternoon tomorrow @Jynx. It’s the last time I get to go to the beach. My loopy auntie is coming for a visit so I’ll be happy to head down to the beach.
yesterday
@Captain24 oh yes gotta soak up all the sun n sand you can!! Haha loopy in a funny and entertaining way or loopy in a omg please get away from me way? 🤣
yesterday
Nah loopy as in I can only take her in very short doses. @Jynx. She is forever telling me I’m her favourite niece. Which is nice I guess out of so many of us. But right now I can’t even hold a conversation with my parents let alone putting her in the mix.
yesterday
@Captain24 disappearing into beach-land sounds like the way to go then!
Haha is she too much cos she dotes on you heaps?
