Thanks @tyme . Not long got home and at -4 it’s a little bit cold.
Im hoping it helps. They did try to ring an hr after I left the gp but my phone was off so I could try and sleep.
I just want to be content in life. Being happy would be great but at the moment I can’t see getting that far. So content would be good and being able to stop myself from getting back to where I am now. I need to know how to prevent it and how to get out of it.
Im off to bed to do it all again tonight. Will be up for a cuppa Monday night.
Thanks so much

All it took was for 2 things to go wrong and I was on that spiral down. It’s been a rough night at work. Even the sunrise couldn’t bring me out of it.
I can’t keep ending up here. I feel numb. I just can’t keep going on like this. I just want it all to end.

Hey @Captain24 ,
Sorry to hear that things are not so good at the moment.
Did you go to your folks tonight, or are you at work?
Please take care,
tyme

Sorry I was at work @tyme. I left at 1am as I couldn’t do it anymore. I just feel
like I’m spiralling out of control.

Hi @Captain24
So sorry to hear you've not gone well over the weekend. Did you get any updates yet from the mental health team at the hospital? How are you feeling on a higher dose of medication? I know when I've increased a dose I often feel worse before I feel better. Hope to hear from you soon.
Hanami

Hi @Captain24,
I'm really sorry you are feeling like this. That sensation of spiralling out of control is really hard - I have felt like in the past too. Do you have someone at home with you or is there someone you can catch up with / talk to today?
I know you have a lot of friends on the forums that care about you and are concerned for you. Please reach out whenever you need to.
Best wishes,
FloatingFeather

Hey @Captain24 sorry you feel like your spiralling. Not such a nice feeling at all. Are you familiar with any distress tolerance skills? TIPP perhaps? Sometimes doing something intense to interrupt what’s going on inside for me can help that downward spiral. Other times it doesn’t. But always worth a try.

I do feel worse @hanami. I thought I was imagining it. I’m starting to feel even more lost and out of control.
I had an appointment with the mental health team today. I have another appointment on Thursday. It felt very clinical and I now have a diagnosis which I’m finding hard to come to terms with. I also need to see a psychiatrist which will take a while to get into. I’m struggling with that too.
@FloatingFeather No I’m home alone but I am taking the dog for a walk in an hour. I really don’t have anyone I’m my life to talk to but that’s my own fault. I deserve it. I just need to stop the spiral before I hit rock bottom.
Thank you both for your support

No I don’t know about that but I will look into it. I need to try something.
Hope you are doing well and enjoying the holiday planning
