Hope you are feeling better now @Faith-and-Hope
The above is so adorable @Maggie Thank you. How is your day going?
I did manage to get good sleep last night and this has made me feel somewhat better today. So I have taken that opportunity - together with the peace in the household presently, to jot down some ideas for the short story collaborative writing group. I have created a title and jotted down ideas for the theme and the opening sentence. That is where I am thus far. Given that my health remains stable, I should have something pieced together to kicked start this writing group within a few weeks (depends on how smooth the move with daughter goes as well). But I have made a start 😊
I have also made a start on researching links for my novel - factual information that I can base a fictitious story theme on. I love to write in a style I personally call "faction", mixing truth, real life events, everyday living, personal experiences/feelings together with fantasy, exaggeration of events (spice it up) and the super natural. It's also a start, but the novel will take quite awhile and it depends on my emotional state. I cannot write when distressed or depressed.
The weather here has heated up - predicted for a high of 33 degrees tomorrow. But it is so dry - we have a heightened fire risk warning presently. Hoping hugely for rain 🙏.
My daughter moves out soon but we are yet to hear when they are actually going to begin building our new home. There is no real communication from the developer which is concerning. If it goes on we may need to talk with our solicitor but I am sure it will work out in the end because I do feel this was meant to be. Anxious times in that regard. Moving forward in others. Sending a warm hug xxxx 💜❤️💜❤️

@Former-Member Gee you have made some bid steps towards your writing thread and novel. Good for you. I'm interested in the writing style you will be doing for your novel. It sounds like your life is going to take a turn for the better once your daughter moves out giving you much needed peace. I hope your health also improves.
A very grey day here and rain predicted for the next three days. I'm not complaining as I don't like it too hot.
My day is awful, really awful and worse than awful. Lol. I'm not going to bore you with details, but I'm glad this one is ending soon. My fur baby is on my knee as usual and Moodle is asleep,on my/her bed. I do think of you hoping your day is going well. Here's hoping you get a good sleep tonight. Sending a warm hug. Do you know there is a community garden thread going?

On the toolbar across the top of the Reply box, right next to the icon for posting images is another icon for posting links ... the one that looks like little chain links. Click on that and follow the prompts.
You have to go to the page you want to link to first, and copy the URL from the box at the top of the page, then paste it into the link-page where it tells you to.
