I lived in tassie for about 20 years. Beautiful spot.

I moved to WA in 2021. I love it here. Perth is so beautiful, not green like tas, more harsh but I love how unique the flora and fauna are here.

What native can be understood for and companion for this eucalypt in Tasmania where its very clay and cool?

Yep @Wesco5454 as understory species?

  • Hey @Macey - copy and pasted these answers-
  •
  • Banksia marginata (Silver Banksia), which is hardy in Tasmania and can tolerate clay soils.
  • Grevillea robusta (Silk Oak), which is another strong, drought-tolerant option that does well in cooler conditions.
  • Callistemon citrinus (Lemon Bottlebrush) could also be a good fit, thriving in Tasmania’s climate and offering bright, attractive flowers.
