I love seeing you painting again @The-red-centaur This is definitely a darker painting but still full of meaning - I think a lot of us here could relate to this one

This project is very time / labour intensive @Zoe7 ..... so it’s slow, but very rewarding. I got a lot done for what it is .....
This is not mine ..... but it gives an indication of how detailed mine is.
This artist is Derek Goes

Wow @Faith-and-Hope. I can imagine how labour intensive that would be.
Im struggling with what to do for me. I’ve been looking up lots of things but everything is so expensive. I would love to find a craft group that makes stuff recycling things. I don’t even know where to go looking for stuff. Agggh that is my woe is me post.

Collage is a very inexpensive craft if you are using junk mail or discarded wrapping paper, or as I suggested to @eth on another thread, asking your local newsagent for their window posters when they are finished with them ..... or supermarkets and department stores have brochures that get thrown out in bulk when the season or fashion changes. You can even cut text into small pieces and work with it .....
Old street directories, old telephone books ..... packaging from shopping ..... it can all be seen in a different light .....
Then you only need scissors, paper and glue @Teej.
Can you find a community centre or library space, and offer two or three people to join you ? I’m fine weather you can use a picnic table in a park.
