Yep it’s all about the layers, pretty much most adobe products are @Faith-and-Hope. It really is awesome. Looks like you are really getting it though. I am totally amazed at how quickly you learn so much. You’re kids have got some serious completion on their hands 😘

I think I have got a lot of the brain-framework for this sort of work @Teej ... when I stop running away from it .... lol.
I sort of realised I needed to put all the bits and pieces of my understanding about computers into a proper comprehension of it, and working out how the computer works is not terribly foreign to the idea of Photoshop .... and I have used Paint for years to do really basic editing of images.
Although it's been a leap, it's sort of scrapbooking stuff I had already done, or got a feel for, into a more workable approach. To continue studying I will need to know this stuff, so trying to tackle it head-on now, before other stuff revs up too much to be able to double back to this.

I would love to see what you could create on illustrator one day @Faith-and-Hope. It’s a bit of a struggle to get your head around but so good too. I didn’t have much of an art background which I think would help enormously.
You are right. I’m glad I got to be not so afraid of computers and understood them before launching into adobe programs. I still used to freak out though because it wasn’t like anything I’d done before. It was doing my cert 3 in it when we did one subject in digital imaging and were intiduced to photoshop elements (a light version of photoshop) and I loved it. That was the beginning of me playing digitally with images.

That's what it was here too @Teej .... a digital imaging unit ..... so it was sink or swim ..... lol ... or pull out the floaties in my case. Then I decided it was time I got into the water and put the swimming thing together .... didn't have to be brilliant at it, but did need to learn to manage.

My S2 is a wiz at the Adobe stuff @Teej. He ain't half bad with a paintbrush either, but this is where they have all taken different tangents with their artwork / careers. The youngest two work really well out of their imagination. Me, not so much, but then like computing and Photoshop, I have only really dipped my toe in up until now .... and now is my time to take a plunge with anything and everything I can / have had on the back-burner for too long.
