Hey @Adge do you have a doctor or better yet psychologist who can do the forms with you? The whole thing is very overwhelming at first I agree. Maybe some of the posts on the 'Anyone Started with the NDIS?' thread (https://saneforums.org/t5/Our-stories/Anyone-started-with-the-NDIS/td-p/157210) I started last year could be helpful to you. Feel free to ask me any questions you have, I'm pretty familiar with a lot of it by now. Quite a bit of it is like learning a new language, but support is out there, maybe I can give you some options for that too.
I nearly gave up several times, but eventually being approved has changed my life for the better.
Hi @Shaz51!

Really nice that you are seeing the beauty @MDT. It sounds like a huge adventurous step for you. Great to have such support.
I went to Denmark and Canada by myself with no support at all for 2 months in Denmark. I look back on it now and wonder how I did it, even just negotiating airports and flights. But I did do it, learned a lot (including about myself!) and made it home safely. You can too!!! Travelling with support is the way to go.

Hi @Janiee If maltesers make you happy then they're good for your mental health!

Thanks @eth I have a limited amount of support - gardening (every 6 weeks) & MH Group lunch.
Both are funded by state agencies, that I had already been assessed for (& qualified).
Now it's all switching to the NDIS, the state agencies are closing permanently.
So I will lose my gardening service & maybe my MH lunch, if I don't now Re-qualify (again) for the NDIS (instead).
