Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

hi @BamBam, try to get off the E-cigs, they have found they are just as harmful as ciggies, try some nicotine gum, it is not great either, but better than the other two alternatives.

I wish you all the best with your quitting journey too. i have not had a cigarette in 8 years.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Thanks @BamBamSmiley Happy I hope you find a new way to start quitting again in future. There are many different approaches to it. Maybe the gum might work for you instead of the vaping. There is also the quit line that my doctor suggested today: 13 78 48

I think fruit salad is on the menu tonight cool and refreshing. It is so humid tonight and I am having rough time.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Hi @Angels333, looks like everyone has drifted off from the Feast. That often happens as the night progresses. Yum to fruit salad. Sorry you are having a rough time tonight, though. I am here for a bit longer if you would like to talk about it.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

I have had to change psychologists. He was retraumstising me beyond any normal measures but I stuck with him for too long because I'm not confident in questioning authority.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

@Angels333 it can be hard making these kinds of changes, especially when we are feeling very vulnerable. Have you seen the new psychologist yet?

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

I had some major depression/ self harm etc I just wasn't safe at all. My psychiatrist has taken over the therapy, but now I have to retell everything again. The psychologist was awful and I feel stupid for not recognising that he was doing more hsrm than good. When I told him I would be seeing the psychiatrist once per week he said that was a bit of a 'luxury'.

So I have to talk it all out again. My psychiatrist knows I have had issues with self harm and said just take extra meds while we are discussing things that are distressing.
