Hi @Angels333 being commited to getting well and going to your appointments is a good thing, not selfish as when you are doing better those who you love and who love you (family? friends? I don't know your situation) will be happy too, for you and with you. Being commited to therapy is not a failing in my opinion, but a step towards more success and stability. Wishing the best for you.

I hear you @Angels333...
I often feel like a failure.
My psychiatrist's receptionist didn't book me in when I asked her to on the 27th & instead has me in for the 5th of May. I didn't see her last month - I cancelled at the last minute, because the appointment was the day before my birthday. My psychologist is much more helpful, but I'm quickly running out of medicare funded appointments... I have private health insurance, which will help pay for some more partially. I wish I had more psychologist appointments.
My anxiety is high too. Anyhow, you are not alone.
Sorry I don'I know what to say...
I hope you get some relief soon....
Namaste,
A

I need to go to bed now too. @Angels333 you just have to get through til Monday then and tell your Dr clearly how you feel. In the meanwhile remember to be gentle with yourself and use slow, deep breathing to get through anxiety periods. I find a good book (library is free!) takes my mind off my problems and helps pass the waiting time. Talk to me onthe Night Shift thread in Enjoying time with others in the meanwhile if you want to. I'll check in there over the weekend.
Goodnight all.
