OMG @Former-Member,
I am so devastated by your news, Domestic violence will never end when men like him keep getting away with their horrendous crimes.
i am so sorry, you have had to endure so much and lose so much and it is just not fair, it makes me very upset to know you have been treated with such indignity.
Hugs @Former-Member, i hope you are able to move forward and live a wonderful and fulfilling life.
i suppose on a small victory for you, you will not have to endure cruelty or bad treatment from him ever again.

Thanks @Jacques its just hard i still have to face him for the rest of my life because of the kids. He will now continue to get more access and time with them which terrifies me. I did get to speak to the solicitor late in the afternoon and they were all shocked at the sentence being so lenient as he used a weapon and it was a prolonged experience. the judge took into consideration that part of his consequences are not being able to teach anymore... but he's still a registered teacher and will be gonig back to work this year as far as i know... i feel like he's probably home celebrating tonight... in the same place where the stuff happened... with his four cars, motor bike, boat (all bought since we seperated except for one car)... and still wont divorce me or start settlement... im so angry tonight and kind of feeling humiliated in a way (have had so many text messages from collegues who've seen the news).

@Former-Member, i am so sorry to hear how you have been treated by everyone, it really upsets me, you are a wonderful person and deserve respect and dignity, i just hope when the devorce goes through you manage to get as much as possible, to set yourself and the children up, i am really lost for words, sweet @Former-Member you are not the only one, my aunt was abused by her husband, he took all her life savings, everything she owned, left her with nothing after abusing her, he now lives in a flashy apartment, wit a sports car, living it up while she is living out of a shed. the system sucks, we need vigilanty justice if the legal system is this useless.
I thought polititions where really going to do something after the Rosey Batty incident. i am so angry and upset with your situation.
i hope i have not made you upset, i just feel so devistated for you.
