@CherryBomb, it was some years ago when I went, but it is in Lithgow and you walk along I think an old train track then enter the tunnel. It is pitch black so you walk in with your torch and shine them all over the tunnel from top to bottom then turn them of. Then just watch as millions of little lights appear, magic.

Hi @CherryBomb, my cousin had the fires come close to his house last year, they had to evacuate and everything, it cam withing meters of the house, but luckily it passed without damaging the house.
No i am from Central West NSW, luckily we don't get many bush fires, their is nothing to burn 🙂 we get only farmers burning stubble that gets away from them every now and again, but the wonderful people at the rural fire service do a great job of getting it back under control.

I'm glad Xmas is nearly over - it was better than usual & we enjoyed awesome vegan food (my partner, mother in law & myself were all vegan for the first time last year & we did a better job this year - although it was all done by my partner & myself - except for a weird dip my mother in law made, hehe). I'm looking forward to more salad, cheesecake & Xmas cake once partner wakes up & we go back over to the house....
I coped pretty well with the day - with little anxiety & an okay mood, but now my mood is becoming low...
Here is some vegan cheesecake for you to share --->

Welcome @Ladybird! How was your Xmas?
- @Former-Member, I second what @Jacques says, I love that quote. I'm also not Christian, so it works well for me! I also like @Jacques idea of making a cat post. Could that be an option for you and your partner? And that cheesecake! Amazing!!
@Aries, wow, I must check it out some time. It sounds magical.
@Former-Member, you do an exceptional job keeping things affloat for your kiddies. Sole-parenting at Chrissy time is not easy! What you got planned for tomorrow?
What's everyone else doing over the next few days?

I have to go to my aunt's tomorrow, so not a good day for me 😞 i struggle with having to be away from the house that long, and struggle being at her house. after that, the same as usual, just pottering around the house.
