@PeppiPatty Don't forget to be very careful about looking after your own health needs while you are helping so many others. It's important to have boundaries if you have health problems yourself. I know - I was a carer for many years and still find myself operating that way with friends. If the person you mention does need health care because of the dep't of housing problems he can get the doctor to document it and use that as leverage with them.

@eth ... so very well said, it is something that I'm still learning, we can all help each other, without taking the problem on ourselves. People with lived experience know how terrifying it is and sometimes we try to hard helping others and take their problems as our own.
