I turned 40 this year, 😨
I used to laugh at people who worried about their age but for some reason turning 40 really rattled me. Probably something to do with being unemployed and a some sort of transition with no clear end in sight for our current arrangement.

So serving up a crown roast of frankfurters in a safari suit is off the table @Former-Member ?
Er... @NikNik are you suggesting that the person serving the crown roast of frankfurters would be in a safari suit, or that the crown roast of frankfurters itself would be in the safari suit??? Either way, this is unacceptable...although the latter is even more unacceptable than the former.

@Determined That is how I am feeling. These "big" birthdays do tend to rattle me. I struggled with my 30th too. Part of it is that I haven't done the things typical of my age group and part of it is not having "friends and family" here in the real world to celebrate with.
