Re: The Weekly Friday Feast
Hello @Crazy_Bug_Lady I dont think we have met properly before. I love nerdy ladies.
When my kids were in Little Aths we all learned about PB personal best. I thought it a great idea.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast
Hey there @Crazy_Bug_Lady,
I'm sorry you had a tough day, I am a procrastinator on the tougher things as well .... but I have been training myself to do better ... some times there are tasks that you just dont want to do, but you do feel much better once they are out of the way.
I think I have read before what you do for your job, but I have forgotten.
Could you share again what you do, if that's ok.
Tell us a little more if you like, what your daily tasks are, do you have a nice place to go for lunch? etc etc

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast
Hi @WombatBoots. A photo from the internet of the pizza but the one my partner cooked here was delicious, his own improvised recipe with tomato, pesto, ham, chicken and other nice bits and pieces to add flavour. I think pizza may become a Friday night regular for us.
@Appleblossom we are having after-dinner port. Cheers!

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast
I have a silly question for @NikNik
*hands on hips* when do I get to go from "contributor" to "senior contributor" ?
is it like scouts getting badges? do I need to make the morning coffee for everyone? cook a chicken with 3 sticks, a rock and a piece of flint? that sort of stuff? ... lol just joking.
I just heard on the football it is 7 deg c in penrith.
also @Jacques, I saw you mentioning the cold earlier, I've read a post before that it is rural nsw, but roughly whereabouts do you live?

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast
yumyum @Mazarita
I love home made pizza, I do it with the family, prep all the ingredients and let everyone go for it and make their own, get the kids involved in the prepping, and they make their own.
sometimes I even get really keen and make the dough from scratch. I love the finished product but gee kneeding is hard work. there's a particular brand of pita bread that we have become fond of using for bases, it's a little thicker than lebonese flat bread, and a bit smaller, so it is perfect as a pizza for 1.
