@Former-Member that's a real bugger. Sound like you got your hopes up - and rightly so - only to have them brought back down again. Sounds frustrating! I know it might not mean much, but my (wise) brother once told me that somtimes when things don't work out the way we would like them to, it's a blessing in disguise.
@Jacques sorry to hear the sad news. Glad you're here.

Sorry guys, i have only had the DSP for the past 13 months, before that i had nothing no job, no government payments, mum gave me $1,000 per year for bills and food, all i could afford was sandwiches for lunch and dinner, every meal, and it looks like i am going back to that, i lived like that for the past 7 years.
i had to shower out of a bucket because we had no hot water, had to get 4 peices of ham for my sandwiches every day because we had no fridge, only an esky, life was crap for those 7 years, i don't know if i can go back to that, it was so degrading.
why are poor people a "punching bag" for the public and politicians? i have family and mum's friends calling me a bludger and get comments from strangers too, i don't know, i am findign it really hard to go on any more. i know i am a wast of space and a burden to society, always will be..................
