@Former-Member, that is so hard feeling like you have to justify yourself to others. Wow, it sounds like you are experiencing a range of challenging symptoms. Interesting what you said about hating labels yet finding them useful in terms of receiving the DSP and facilitating appropriate treatment - during our "What use is a diagnosis?" Topic Tuesday earlier in the year we similarly discussed how diagnosis can be a double-edged sword, you might find it interesting to read.
I'm sorry that her unfairly questioning you has led you to question yourself - there is nothing inherently wrong with you. Like you said to @Former-Member, it not your fault, rather, it's likely related to those unlucky cards you mentioned.
Oh so gorgeous! That's right, I remember about your kittens arriving recently. I would love to have a Burmese cat! My brother has had 2, both so lovely!

Oh gosh @Shaz51...
I don't want to "preach" - I just care & think it is horrible that the doctor said there is nothing you can do about it...
So I just will say a few things - my partner was diagnosed by a gp as pre - diabetic before adopting a whole food plant based vegan diet. My partner's mum had kidney disease including kidney stones - as well as other serious health conditions (like being told she was about to have a stroke anytime - with a bp of 190 etc) she didn't want to have procedures, medication etc so asked my partner what he was doing. Both are now in great physical health (apart from my partner's cycling injuries - negligence on hospitals part for not intervening in a timely manner) If you want check out 'physicians committee for responsible medicine'. There are many other doctors/scientists/researchers, but I'll just give you one to look up if you are interested.
Sorry to hear you hubby is anxious about those things - understandable things to be anxious about...
Wishing you both health,
I'm going to check out now as I'm quite paranoid about sending this message, but care to much not to say anything - a doctor shouldn't tell you there is nothing you can do unless you are about to drop dead.... a lot of doctors don't know though.
Ahimsa - Namaste,
Anna

Thanks @Shimmer do love a strawberry or 10!! It was magical. My little fur baby ran around and around and is now sound asleep. Poor little mite tuckered himself out. I think I laughed for about 10 minutes - so nice to feel some joy!
