Hi @BlueBay - I understand the feeling.... Hugs! Any small thing you could do tonight that would be a bit soothing or calming? It's so hard to be kind to ourselves when we need to the most it seems....
Hi @Jacques - that does sound very difficult - I don't agree that all people with schizophrenia or any other mental illness should have to take medication - it is a choice & there are better options seemingly far & few between - I'm guessing that as you live rural & quite remote there isn't much psychological support available for her.... You really need to get more sleep - prolonged lack of sleep results in psychosis even in mentally healthy people, so I guess that is what concerns me the most 😕
Sorry, if I'm saying unhelpful things - I'm not great myself at the moment, but I like to try to help others (I don't think I'm doing a good job though...)
Ahimsa - Namaste,
Anna

sorry @Former-Member if i have upset you,
i forgot you suffer schizophrenia too, my aunt used to be on meds and was doing so well, but she decided she was well enough to go off them, and now she thinks it is a government consiracy to control her mind. she has lost so much through erratic decisions and has ruined a lot of family and freinds relationships. she only really has mum and i, and i am really struggling to support her.
you are doing a wonderful job at helping Anna, and i thank yo ufor giving me your view.
I agree, some people can manage without medication, and i am so happy some people can, but in some cases it is just unavoidable. i don't like meds either, but i am having to take triple the amount of my meds just to cope.

Hi @CherryBomb...
Exhausted from lack of sleep last night... have been trying my best to manage increased paranoia for several months - have been in a lot of pain from oral surgery & complication - I finally get just over one week of yoga again before having 2nd surgery next week - just lots of stress overflowing... & makes me a bit suicidal.... (I'm safe with my partner here...)
