The Weekly Friday Feast

@CherryBomb I did manage to cut the burnt bits of but it wasn't really a culinary delight befitting a Friday feast. 

Just wondering how @Bimby2 and @Appleblossom are going and what is on the menu tonight?

@utopia, scrbled egg, yum, haven't had that for yonks, going on the menu for breakfast.

@CherryBomb, and @Former-Member,, I am in SEQld & yes, guess it is warm, I am in a singlet top & worked up a sweat today.

My 'MAGIC SOUP' is called such, not because it has magic mushrooms lol, but because it makes me feel better when I have a bowl each day (i notice my thinking and energy deteriates when I don't). Its my way of getting the vegies in, and herbs I need such as turmeric. The base always has lots of Pumpkin & Celery, and a bit of potato, carrots, onion, parsley, and whatever vegies need using up, chicken stock (home made) and bean mix (optional). Sometimes i break up pre-cooked chicken for added protein.
Cooks easy in the crock pot. After cooling I blend it up and bag it for freezer in meal portions (lasts a week+). Defrost naturally as needed. Not hard. I pre cook bolotti beans etc the night before in the crock pot, sometimes with a soup bone for flavour. I'm no cook but it works 🙂

Hi @CherryBomb. If you mean the farcical debate - yes, I have had a laugh today. Had a beautiful meal of squid rings, potato gems, chips, followed by ice cream, jelly, custard. Yummmm. I too live in S.E Qld, very humid today, rain tomorrow. Great day back at work today, all clients welcomed me with open arms. Working Monday. Btw. All who have been helping me with bf situation, have had a talk and sorted most of it out. Many thanks to all who patiently listened. Daughter situation, not so good. She has completely disowned me, turned on bf, brother etc. Bf says, don't worry, she'll sort herself out.

Perfect @Former-Member..really like that. I made homemade stock a while back and it was so much nicer, let alone had to be so much more nutritious..err but little man killed the slow cooker! 😏😱
@CherryBomb...I know!! Insane at least shops could wait until Nov!..no doubt I'll be last minute organization on christmas front!
