hey some good news over here - have a few interviews next week for peer support roles
I feel a bit overwhelmed by it all but just gotta prepare it
i feel a bit bad too because i don't want to be a long term job - but i just want a job where I have meaning you know?
What better way to use my own experience than to help others though right?

That is fantastic news @MDT wishing you all the best, remember don't over think it and worry about each interview on the day, I really hope you get one of the jobs. 

You will be amazing at being a mentor, don't worry about the timeline. Short term or long term, if it is not a good fit for you you can always leave to pursue other opportunities. 

 Please keep me updated on how you go with them.

Yes experiqnce means so much to people with mental health issues, I personally have found professionals who have never experienced mental health issues don't really understand.
