Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

oooh, that looks amazing @Appleblossom looks like a awesome feast.

thank you, trying to look after her, she is very stubborn though 😕

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

@Jacques  Ha ha

Very virtual

Tonight was just ham tomato and capsicum omelette plus snowpea salad and sour cream.

Re your mum.  Being stubborn is a sign of fear of losing capacity, which you probably already know.  Not easy to manage.

Take Care

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

yes, it is difficult getting old, mum is one tuff nut @Appleblossom yes she odes fear becoming reliant on me and i think it brings home how much she relies on me when she falls as she can't get up on her own now. i am hoping i can give her the care she has given others over the years

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Sound difiicult. I know you love her.

@Jacques

Had a tech meltdown about using narrated powerpoint.  Think it is to do with Micrrosoft version on computer ...idk

You probably would be handy living with me!

Bip went the bell ...

Just got told not to worry, already got a pass and to stress less by the lecturer.

Oh the wonders of modern tek.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

oh @Appleblossom im so sorry, it can be a bit difficult especially when you are learning, i taught IT when i was 17, 30 - 40 people at a time, the biggest thing i found with older people is their fear of pressing the wrong button and breaking something, believe it or not computers are very difficult to damage these days. i hope your lecturer can spend a little time with you to help you get a better understanding of powerpoint, it is a very good program especially when doing presentations.

most modern microsoft office applications are backwards compatable, so it should work. if you need help i could try 🙂

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Thanks @Jacques Do not worry. I am letting it go at a pass.  The lecturer has been great, understanding and communicating.
