@Ru-bee

Do they all get along?

A wary acceptance at the moment.  We can confidently leave them alone though so that's good.  No more hissing either after a bit when we first introduced them.

Re: The Sane Cattery: Because normal is overrated

@Oaktree  We need photos of your kitty!

Hey guys,

meet Marmalade!

Marmalade is 10 years old and we rescued her from the RSPCA on 3rd December 2023. She is a spoilt kitty. Her favourite foods involve gravy and she goes mad for Temptations treats. At night she can be found sleeping between her humans and during the day she loves the couch. She has been a big fan of aircon during these hot days.

Marmalade has got the fiery 'all-seeing' eyes! @Oaktree

@tyme

Marmalade knows she is boss around here and puts up with the stupidity of her humans. She does know all

Re: The Sane Cattery: Because normal is overrated

@Jynx

I'd say "so cute" but of course they are.  Trixie Von Treat has to be one of the best names ever though.  Oh, I can't help it... they're sooo cute!

@Gremlin24

The kitten looks so sweet, how sad you couldn't keep her.  At least you can get some cuddles from Gracie.

@Patches59

Yep.  I didn't dunk her in talcum powder.  We thought she was black and white, but she has these large patches of grey as well.  And you have a Luna as well!  I love the ginger nose.  I'm not sure i've ever seen it like that before.

@Oaktree

What is it with those temptations?  All of ours love them!  Ryker and Luna also believe in sleeping with humans.  or should I say allowing us to sleep in their bed.

Re: The Sane Cattery: Because normal is overrated

@MJG017 it was sad but she went to a loving home, I can't live with cats. But I can at least have lots of cuddles with them and I do get to cuddle little baby kittens from newborns all the way to adults 😊

Re: The Sane Cattery: Because normal is overrated

This one is not mine but stole part of my heart first time I saw her few years ago.  Miss this sweet little soul.  She’s now in foster care which is good news

Re: The Sane Cattery: Because normal is overrated

Hey @MJG017 @tyme @Oaktree @Patches59 @Gremlin24 ,

Meet Marta! A stray, brought into the RSPCA in September 2024, pregnant and emaciated, and nursed back to health. I adopted her in December 2024. She's 1 year and 9 months now.

I feel so guilty for leaving her alone, while I've been in and out of PARC/hospital.

Grateful to my Mum and Dad for taking care of her.

She's curious, stubborn, sensitive (she loves tactile sensory input and rubs up against things that will stimulate her), shy and loving!

I really miss her.
