yesterday
@TAB it certainly is West Australian but being a tree rather than a small plant it would take up the majority of my backyard!
We used to drive to Geraldton every Christmas as my family all lived there and we would see the Christmas trees in bloom along the way.
They are also a parasite and I couldn't have @Glisten be a parasite. Not in ANY universe!!
yesterday
@ENKELI @is 💯% correct it is parasitic as it leaches nutrients from other plants around it.
Western Australia Christmas tree is a mistletoe and sacred to the first people of this land. We must never pick the flowers of this tree. @TAB
In other news meet Fezzi the feral cat that has taken up residence downstairs between my friend’s stored furniture, mainly their leather couch and the wall.
Guess I’ll go get cat food.
yesterday
@Glisten Fezzi looks like a distinguished boy. Maybe he'll keep the bunnies down!!
We always picked the flowers of the Christmas tree, they weren't a protected species unlike the wildflowers I always wanted to pick!!
yesterday
@TAB hey tabby, had coffee and think going for nap again ha. Hope you're okay
