Stepmonster finally shuffled off her mortal coil and while I am not sad about this my father is so I shall be supporting him as much as I can for the next wee while.

But my story not like yours. 

When I was 29 I smoked lots and lots of weed. I didn't like it but it was like I was addicted to it. I started having people visit me at night - my psychiatrist put me in antidepressants and they stopped. 

Years later I was talking about it with someone and they said you do know you were going in and out of Psychosis don't you ? I freaked and told my psychiatrist and he agreed. 

.......        But really, your incidences make me think of when I was about 3, a hand under my bed was comforting me by holding my hand. You can call it what you like but I think it like your times of like --- spirituality.
