@saturnzoon, you have rights. Its totally unlawful business practice to deny or restrict services based on religious persuasion. I am not familiar with the reporting process with NDIS but you may be able to do something about it. I'm sorry its causing you anxiety. These services are meant to be there to ease your problems not create them ❤️ You could ring your local member of parliament and complain to back you up and do something about these zealots.

yesterday
Morning all
@Meowmy @TAB @SmilingGecko @Oaktree @StuF
@tyme @Bill16 @ENKELI @Jacques @Glisten
Have had a horrible night couldn't fall asleep till about 12.45am and then kept waking up again least every hour and can't get back to sleep since 4.30am my mind just won't stop.
@tyme i have found another company who are pretty new providers and also are connected to my psychologist and i'm seeing the new worker this morning so i can just go for a cuppa and do little shopping, I have met the new worker once before and she seems nice
@Oaktreethat's great that you got national parks Pass, love there parks being in nature.
Do you know what they did to keep getting the psychologist through NDIS for you as I had a change of circumstances put through and my focus LAC person said I wouldn't get funding for it anymore and have to go through care plan now and that it really depends on who does our plans as there all different and could take up to 6months to process now as there way behind cause of new rules
My psychologist costs $194 for 1hr
it's my low week this one so only have $50 for food which will go on my son as he only eats certain food.
Yeah @TAB @SmilingGecko
my support co-ordinator is going to send a report to NDIS about what the company is doing and also found out about my providers charging me for New Years day which I had cancelled on 19th December but they put it down that I cancelled the day before and got extra as it was a public holiday and apparently they had already got in trouble with them for over charging some of our funding
Hope everyone has a good day ❤️
yesterday
@saturnzoon thinking of you honey. You should not go without food. I have some options for you with your food insecurity.
* Ask Izzy website. You go here and enter what you need. Type "food" then it will ask if its for yourself or someone else. After that it will ask for your postcode and then will show food charities in your area. Ask Izzy usually appears on emergency contact numbers on fridge magnets that politicians usually send out each year.
There is also Oz Harvest it was set up by a green entrepreneur to combat food waste and food insecurity. They just opened a venue in Adelaide last year. They have a location in Hindmarsh and Victor Harbour in Adelaide and the food is either free or by donation no questions asked. You can go in as often as you wish

Please look into these options. I hate seeing someone go hungry

I hope this morning's meeting with the new worker goes well and that you are able to transfer services if it seems like a better option for you
