True @Meowmy 😁 I dont realise am property owner as well. someone started walking up driveway other week asking If I knew some made up name,of they were looking for bad people at end of street.. I did not move from where I was when say them. so they stopped. they left after said couldnt help them. next step was to tell them to 'get off my property ' ... or you may regret it.....

in a way Life is what you make it @Meowmy .. if you Can.... and well we both ..did, but not like expected norms..
My mums 2nd cousins wife used to see once a year at least would always say wheres your girlfriend , your so good looking, wheres your wife,,
then brother in laws grandmother did it as well .. lol ' Ta ab when I see you next you better have a wife .. ' over and over .I remember feeling miserable, talking to GP like 40 years ago, saying I cant afford a house ' he was like oh it doesnt matter, dont feel bad .. how wrong was he, lol

@Meowmy as single parent I was treated as a social pariah.
Society was ramming to two parent family thing down my throat.
30 years later I was amazed to see how functional, well adjusted and capable my family was compared to the two parent families.
A counsellor told me that as a single parent I had provided constant stability for my children. Regardless of the fact we were in State Housing.
Things we wish we knew.
