there is power at your house ? @Former-Member  its already there. Doubt govt is selling stoves and you have to all buy same model ?

Funny what reminds us of home @Oaktree  Hope your cooking and cleaning went okay.  I bought an English cadburys choc in import section a few years back as said had more cocoa, was horrible, couldnt taste the extra cocoa, but way worse the aust cadburys, bit more in the direction of eating soap lol..

@TAB Yes both my hot water and stove top are gas. I have electrical power for other things but my gas hot water and stove top needs to be converted by 2025. The Victorian Energy Initiative will offer subsidies and they may suggest a list of gas appliance installers through which they have a subsidised program. The government were going to roll out something soon for low incomes based on what I read in the newspaper a while back. I will check in with their site soon to see what they have come up with. But yes its going to be expensive
