Yep not the money, but it does come in handy, hey @StuF !
I used to write freelance for health and wellbeing publications. Mainly magazines. Then the whole landscape changed to digital and the work completely changed. I probably could have re-trained the but the idea of having people being able to comment on my work online scared the life out of me!
I've done a few creative writing courses as I used to love that as a kid. But didn't really do anything with it.

Hey @Captain24
You never cease to amaze me with your strength to carry on and do awesome stuff like share you MH journey with a whole group of people. You definitely should be super proud.
I really hope you're through the worst of it. I'm glad you checked in to give us an update.

Yeah @hanami - the comments section so often displays why people are the worst! lol
I should probably do a course, never found one I really want to do. One started up at my place of work - an art centre - but it didn't get enough students enrolled and so was canned before it began
I hope your children's book endeavour goes well!

Afternoon @SmilingGecko @StuF @TAB @Meowmy @hanami @Shaz51 @Appleblossom @Historylover @BipolarPenguin @Adge @MDT @NatureLover @tonys @Bill16 @greenpea and all
Haven't been on again for over a week, struggling with everything, specifically xmas coming up, used to love xmas but kids in different states makes it hard.
I think my meds need changing cause always getting angry at any little thing, yelling at my son, then feeling low most of the time and been falling over a lot and my concentration is all over the place but my psychiatrist said no so it makes every day hard to get through.
I hope you all are doing ok just taking a day at a time coming up to Xmas

Hey there @saturnzoon
Sorry to hear you're struggling of late. Gosh, it's tough this time of the year hey.
I have a daughter in another state and a son on Japan but my two other kids are nearby (one still lives at home and the other is a 5 min drive away). I'm glad about that. But will miss the son in Japan. I think my daughter interstate is coming up but not sure yet. We'll see. Like you say, one day at a time.
I think that's good advice!
Take care and sending all my positive vibes.
Hanami

@saturnzoon sorry to hear you aren't doing well being separated by distance from your family. I bought a beaut book on acupressure last year and I have used the pressure points to regulate my emotions like anger more effectively. I've had recent incidents over harassment so have utilised the practices in the book which were really great to let go of anger. Its surprising how a simple set of accessible techniques can release so much pent up emotion easily and quickly
