@Oaktree You have every reason to be sad. I feel sad for you. Will you get another opportunity?

@SmilingGecko Wow you are having a yummy and productive day. I finished yesterday’s Maca Ice Latte for breakfast, pretty darn good.
I’m going to wander down stairs for a heart starter aka motivation in a cup.

Hello @Glisten I don't know how I keep going the meds really slow me down. @TAB suggested I talk to shrink about lowering dosage. But the meds keep me stable and knock me out at night. So its not something I could possibly do easily. Yes cuppa sounds like a good idea, motivation in a cup! I think I may borrow that idea from you ❤️ What are you doing today? I have been on The Magic of Tidying thread and my kitchen looks less like a Hiroshima atomic bomb site. Still got to clean the sink, wipe surfaces and clean the stovetop and I'm on top of my cleaning.

hmm , no hadnt thought of that re dec prepping for 2024 @Glisten .
However, I am about to sign up for cert IV TAE ..(again) started it with Tafe in WA 2 years ago. now all units and numbers have changed , so cannot get credit for the 2 units I did. That was for fun apparently lol.
So. course starts late Feb, its 1 day a fortnight in Adelaide which is do-able and should finish by this time next year lol .
Also I should be able to get a concession price ot $1500 vs around $5000 full price.
Should have have added benefit of keeping DES off my back as well..
..and .. if I enroll in next 2 weeks keep 2023 price of 1500 , if after that its nearly $1800 so all good.

Never heard of that course. The full price seems astronomical @TAB Well at least you get a discount. I'm still lumped with a HECS debt from 30 years ago which I think they index. Good luck with it, it will get you out of the house and meeting other folk. You never know what good fortune may come into your life.

@SmilingGecko Sleep is the most IMPORTANT thing for our brain health. The other things are a workaround.
What natural things have you incorporated during the day to boost yourself?
B vitamins, Maca powder & good quality green tea in a morning smoothie and going for a fast walk? - Great for energy and brain without caffeine.
A piccolo coffee and going for a run? - Fast response caffeine rush might give you the shakes.
The more you move your body the better. Movement & exercise pushes medication through your body. It’s been proven and incorporated into cancer treatment.
I have the reverse of your problem. I can barely get out of bed without my medication.

No @TAB I can’t just go on respite any time. It’s with an organisation and respites are arranged well in advance. My next respite isn’t until February.
