Take it easy in the heat. Seems the country west of the divide is getting hot. Have the give the furnace the respect it commands as we age n just slow down a bit. The suns a cruel mistress
and we have to listen to our bodies.. @Former-Member @Glisten You tell em.. Don't think they listen to me. Lol

Hi @tonys
My garden of Eden has been hit a bit by this extreme heat. I tried to move some tomatoes last week not expecting this hot weather so I think I may have lost most of them. My lettuces were looking great a month ago but now looking like bolting. My capsicums have a bunch of fruit forming though and lots of fruits on my cherry tomatoes. I have a couple of butternut pumpkins forming and one Queensland Blue getting quite big. Waiting on the other pumpkins to form.
Christmas is usually a big affair here with either hubby or I cooking up a storm. Until today I thought it wasn’t going to happen this year and I was really sad about it. Talked to middle son today and he agreed to come with his partner on Boxing Day. Just gotta tell son number 1 and his girlfriend. My daughter is still overseas studying so she won’t be coming. Middle child has promised my famous cheesy potato to his partner and he wants his Dad’s famous stuffing. Probably going to cook roast potatoes, pumpkin, peas, corn, pork and gravy to go along with. There is never any leftovers because the kids take it all home with them. I guess I will now have to pull the Christmas tree out and decorate it. I hope you are home for Christmas my friend! How long do they expect you to be in the rehab place? Go look at the menu I left you at introduction. It’s designed to rebuild your strength. I will start leaving you menus again. Hopefully you will get better quickly. I know you can’t spend much time on sane so just browse them when you find time.
Much love to you my dear friend,
Meggle
