Re: Tabaluga's

Thats good @TAB my diabetes educator let me down once again. I am having serious reservations about her ability to practice.  She could have caused me serious harm. My GP seemed to indicate - "she did that to you"

I don't know what to make of my diabetes educator. It saddens me deeply and makes me wonder about any future issues that may arise that she is incompetant to fix. Its VERY disconcerting. I don't normally discuss my doctor/patient relationship with people and have experienced bad medicine in the past and just put it down to experience.

Re: Tabaluga's

Yeah @TAB will have to discuss it with my GP as I'm on a care plan. I need bloods done soon so will bring it up with my GP when I see her next week. I felt hemmed in because of a care plan and also because I did not know others that may do telehealth appts because I don't have a car.  There may be others that do telehealth but this one was like 3/4 hour up the road - about as local as I could get but found out she accepts country and interstate calls. There may be someone else that does telehealth which I could change under this care plan. I needed a nurse to write up my care plan last year - its a formal document and it took a while at the GP clinic. Should be able to switch diabetes educators you would think?

Re: Tabaluga's

@StuF shes a nice woman but she has failed me on several occasions. It does not inspire trust. I live alone and need professionals whom I can rely on.  It reminds me when I was taking "The Big L" psychiatric medication and the trouble it caused me. Anyway been out to the chemist this afternoon, for more medications to fix this new problem.  I hope you are doing ok.

@Former-Member

As you've indicated to @TAB  I guess you need to talk to your GP and navigate from there. Good luck with it!
