One thing @ArraDreaming @Shaz51 , I've also learnt that being grateful is not just for the 'good' things, but also for the 'not-so-good' things in life. I feel we have a lot to learn when we have adverse circumstances. I feel we learn more then, than if everything was going well.

It's not all about the 'good' but also the 'not-so-good' things that may really be a blessing in disguise.
So sometimes it's about stopping and refocusing our thinking to see this.
I hear what you mean @Shaz51 - sometimes it's easy to forget what we are grateful for - I think that's why people need people to remind them. Humans are social creatures. Sometimes we feel we are not, but really, humans need humans to grow.
