Re: Share a cuppa?

@Shaz51 hey Shaz, hope you're enjoying a nice evening. Pray for you .

Re: Share a cuppa?

Sitting with you my darling @Meowmy 🥰

Re: Share a cuppa?

Thanks @Meowmy, it's cold here too. Parts of me are up and parts are down, nothing unusual in that, I talked with my psychologist today and said I don't want to forget the traumas that happened to.me because they're part of but I want to focus on other things while they're in my lower peripheral view.

I'm literally having a cuppa ginseng tea and thinking I don't want to leave that person who got trampled all over by the defamation, I want to take him with me into the future, I don't want to leave him with the wolves that people are sometimes (disrespect meant to those people, but not to wolves).

Re: Share a cuppa?

How are you tonight @Shaz51. I shall probably be asleep soon, so if you respond and I don't answer I'm not being rude, I'm just asleep. My psychologist would like to do some aeschemia therapy with me, I think that's what it's called.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @tyme, how are you? My psychologist would like to start me on aeschemia, and I don't what that entails. Do you know anything'about it.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Schema therapy? @Abner

I've never heard of aeschemia - I'm interested to hear more though 🙂

Re: Share a cuppa?

It could be schema therapy. She's got that lovely thick Irish accent which is great for operatic singing because their consonants are beautiful, but the open 'e' vowels can be alittle populous in the speech patterns.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Yes @tyme she probably meant schema therapy.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Schema therapy is great. It works to change your current schema which may be unhelpful, to more helpful thought patterns. @Abner . It can be hard, but results can be so promising.

I believe it is particularly successful for those with complex trauma.

You have to feel ready for it though. That is, asking yourself whether you are ready to work on changing some of your current thinking processes.

Also, it takes time. It's not an overnight thing.

I look forward to hearing how it goes or whether you decide to proceed.

Re: Share a cuppa?

It's awfully quiet on the forums tonight @Bow @Abner @Shaz51 @Meowmy @ArraDreaming - am I missing something?
