Re: Share a cuppa?

No, you don't deserve this @Paulette, it's a horrible predicament to be in; sometimes people laugh because they're nervous, others do that because they enjoy seeing others brought down - those people have VERY poor self esteem and are envious and resentful of people who have better ones. You've done nothing wrong, hold yourself proudly. Be gentle and give yourself your best kindness. Have a really good cuppa, something healthy and hearty to eat - maybe some soup - and well earnt rest today...and give your partner a really good hug.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @Abner ,

Thankyou for your kindness. I just kept my distance with said individual. I actually even googled ways to deal with someone else's misdirected anger. I said the bare minimum. I was too fatigued to be drawn into more negativity and demands. There is a sense of entitlement here and I also decided I wouldn't buy into this. A step at a time this morning. I have been home sleeping as I need to interact with the individual layer. I have my final shift tonight prior to break. My partner had an important appointment of his own to attend. I was unhappy that I could not be with him to support him as he so needed. C'est La Vie. I hope life is being kind to you. I have done a lot of visualisation of an invisible shield for protection and also work on my chakra to better enable me to cope. My partner is bringing me a Quiche, these are the most delicious I have tried outside of France. Have a great day and take care. Getting big hug before I leave tonight from my partner. He is privy to all the details of my situation. My great support 😊

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @Former-Member ,

How are you? I hope life is kind and your day is good. I've missed our chats. Going to play my keyboard and some classical music to calm and enlighten myself . Debussy Reverie is a piece I love to play as it's so gentle and not of this world and the struggles we face. Sorry I've been absent I finish my last shift tonight prior to a break.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @Paulette, Debussy's wonderful. Have you tried Morten Lauridsen's "Lux Aeterna"? That's also very beautiful and otherworldly.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @Paulette my apologies for not getting back to you after your last message.

I too had work today and was tired last night after a bad day at work - paying the rent so to speak.

I'm sorry to hear that you were feeling blue and had so much aggression to confront. I can't even fathom what you have been through this week. I know I too don't like confrontation but it sounds like some of these people need confronting to protect yourself and your boundaries.

Anyways sounds like you are handling things well today and getting back to a place of peace. Good on you.

I'm going ok - have texted my daughter once this week and actually got a response back. I don't expect it so was a pleasant surprise.

I have another good thing happening scored a semi professional organisation that I'm very excited about

Any way I have missed you too and look forward to hearing back my dear friend ❤️💜❤️

Re: Share a cuppa?

A refreshing water after a run around afternoon for me @tyme !

How was everyone's day? I hope that everyone has escaped the rain a little today.... this month.... this year in fact!

Re: Share a cuppa?

Shitty day here @tyme  really annoyed

Re: Share a cuppa?

Sorry to hear @Bow - how was yesterday anyway? Is how you feel based on the events of yesterday?

Re: Share a cuppa?

No nothing to do with yesterday @tyme yesterday was good. We had a lovely time celebrating my daughters birthday.

my case manager called my mum (that in itself annoyed me that she goes straight to my mum and not me), they discussed my meds and community mh want me meds given out every 3 days from the pharmacy. They are already Webster packed, locked in the safe and mums been asked to watch me take them. I think that’s sufficient enough.
