I go through periods where it feels like I'm always buying cake or sweet treats, then others where its all healthy all the time. Balance is the key to life I think @Former-Member, so let us both admire this tea cake (I'm going to go grab a biscuit to honour this sentiment!).
Crying can be such a cathartic release, is there something that is holding you back from letting the tears flow @Former-Member?

I think trying to be positive all the time is stopping the tears. @Former-Member So many hurts inside and I just want to get rid of them. Not so easy. I used to cry all the time. Haha! Now I can’t.

Hmmm, I think that word balance is probably applicable here too @Former-Member – gratitude and positivity are important, but I believe allowing yourself to feel whatever it is you are experiencing and making room for those emotions is perhaps just as important (maybe even more so in some respects).
That said, it all comes down to what you feel equiped to feel and have the right coping skills in place. Some days we're in the right frame of mind to let it all out, and some days it can feel like a pandora's box!
I'm with you though, I can find it hard to cry at times. What I've found helps is to watch a sad movie or listen to a particularly emotive song and really tune in to what comes up for me.
I'm giving the carrot cake a big thumbs up too, and also throwing in a hummingbird cake as a contender for best all time bake award. Have you tried one @Former-Member?

Sounds yum 😋 @Former-Member
I watched A Star is Born this week. Not realising that it had a tragic ending. I normally would sob my heart out. But didn’t. I don’t understand what is going on with me. Have you seen that movie? Rhye @Shaz51
Not the old one with Barbara Streisand. The one with Lady Gaga. Amazing movie.
