An Engagement Party sounds lovely @Shaz51 Especially when it was for one of your Foster children.

I am somewhat like Mr Shaz - I need time to recover from Social engagements, which take a lot of energy out of me.

Since my disability work demands that I be "highly social" every day, when also dealing with challenging behaviours - that leaves me with no energy to be social in my own time (outside of work).

Which is when I need it the most, for my own sense of well-being & support.

I'm sure your tagging is the best on here.   Been a few days of standing tall while the past wants to bring me down.  I found it doesn't like the good things I do in life so I hum nice tunes to wear it down. I do get exhausted but not down.  Keep the tags going and stay safe

Saturday soiree is a place to hang out on a quiet Saturday (which it often is on the forums) and pretty much anything goes here (within guidelines of course).  You can share what's going on for you and find some support, meet some new people, or even just share some music or food that  you love.

ha tick, didnt know anyone did that, id have heaps on it if had that now, maybe get them to so start a book for me lol I remember everything used to be on tick, dept store, groceries etc etc, just had to have a book I remember one shop had all account books on shelf with a number on the spine and had to get it yourself to get something put on docket lol
