I have had a bit of a sad start to Christmas. Santa didnt stop at our house. We couldnt afford presents this year. We are having our 3 kids over for dinner tonight. 2 of them will be bringing their fiancee's so there will be 7 of us. it was one of the fiancee's birthdays yesterday so I made lemon cheesecake for dessert tonight. Hopefully it's good because I have never made it before. Looking forward to dinner tonight anyway.

@Oaktree I'm alone today and my plans are just to try to survive if that's possible. 

Sending big hugs, gifts aren't essential but being with family and making memories, that's what is important. Make the most of your day together and enjoy that yummy cheesecake.

I hate Christmas, I'm waiting for transport to go to a Christmas orphans event that is too far for me to drive.

Santa is incredibly triggering for me and already the images have started, I was hoping to delay them at least a little longer.

Merry Christmas to you @Oaktree ! I hope you have a great day and you enjoy it surrounded by your family. As for me, it’s an easy day until Christmas dinner where I’m going out to dinner with my housemate and her family to a restaurant in the Dandenong here in Victoria. Luckily I’m not paying - can’t afford it after the house move recently- so it should be a good evening.

It's a hot day here in Adelaide so i'm happy to be spending the day at home in the pool.  Unfortunately my partners family is here for lunch and i've been told I have to share the pool 😞
