I have chased this holiday for along time and ensured every tradition was ticked off and this year I found my ability to do so was compromised and I had to adjust. It was here I realised that maybe my pursuit was never about the actual occasion but just my inner drive to find happiness and the festive season was just an excuse to optimise it. So here I am without all the festive activities but content because I know the value is in my ability to seek and find happiness whether surrounded or alone.
Todays reflection, whatever today holds for you I hope you find kindness for yourself.

Well said, @Judymay . My parents invited me out to Hungry Jack's, which was closed, so we went to MacDonald's instead. Nothing wrong with low-key!
