Hey @Shaz51 I just found this thread.
I have chatted with you before on a different thread.
I’m sorry to hear you are having multiple health problems. I suppose a positive is an increase (or at least stabilisation) of kidney function. It seems osteoporosis is currently the thing causing the most symptoms currently. Hopefully you can get that pain under control.
I was thinking of you when there were 4 cyclones near Australia and two near Queensland.
Your photos are lovely but I bet you’re hoping the cyclone doesn’t make landfall. Crossing my fingers for you on multiple issues

Fingers crossed the cyclone doesn't do any damage @Shaz51 . It's the last thing you need.
Maybe you need to build an underground bunker!!!

@Shaz51 I am doing much better than I was when I first retired in December.
I’m sure a lot of that has to do with all the amazing supportive and inspiring people on these forums. Telling their stories and providing suggestions.
I’ve started a volunteer role in which I am finding really useful in giving me a purpose. I interact in person with people who have not fared well in life and many have some kind of MH difficulty. I learn as much from them as any support I provide them.
I’ve also started a couple of other activities as well as increasing participation in my sport. I still struggle a bit and it waxes and wanes, but overall I’m in a much better place.
I hope your own and Mr Shaz MH is going well

Ohh you will still have moments @Till23 but you are not alone my friend but well done and keep on keeping on
We are still getting used to retirement too
I think I am enjoying retirement more than my husband
My husband MH is not very good at the moment, he was going to ring his MH team but he has not done that yet @tyme and having trouble sleeping so that affects my sleep

That’s one good thing about only sleeping with my body pillow (which I got when I had my first cancer treatment) they sleep just as good as me and never disturb me @Shaz51 🤣
Yes I know I’ll still have my moments with retirement. I still worry about the financial side every day. But hopefully I won’t get to the stage again where I think the only solution is to retire from life. Although I didn’t say as much at the time, that was where I was when I started posting on forums in December.
