@TAB, I noticed the bug because that was the first car I ever owned (have only owned two so that's a big deal, lol). Sounds like you have travelled pretty widely then. I've been to all states of Australia except Tasmania, but some of those visits were fairly brief. What's your favourite place?

@TAB, I was at Uluru for the turn of the millennium. Solo trip in my wilder days gone by. A very mixed bag experience with the people I met but the place was awe inspiring. I've lived in the country (born there), Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Townsville (only a month apiece), and now where I am on the Gold Coast.

@TAB, I was born and spent the first five years on a sheep and cattle station. Some good early memories. Travels and travails do seem to go together sometimes. But there are rewards, especially if, like you, you like the road. These days I'm craving home base more and more. Getting longer in the tooth, lol.

@TAB, lol, misunderstanding. But I still think travels and travails go together. It must be dark by now over there. Working tomorrow?
