yeah, all a bit mad. some things way more over complicated tho , 1 belt (serpentine) it breaks and you are toast , whereas they used to used 3 separate belts to do same job eg 

@plasmo  and yes, it happened to me once just past eucla, not a good feeling lol . and was told something needed fixing but they claimed didnt have time, or had to order part. was a matter of knowing what doing, taking tension off belt, undo 1 bolt on pulley and replace. kept me at motel for like 3 days lol
