New poem

Hi @TAB @greenpea @SmilingGecko @Appleblossom @Judi9877 @Shaz51 @Clawde  and all forumites

This one has been a long time coming! I hope it connects with some of you

Stillness

There is a stillness here
Contemplating the heartbeat
Of god

A subatomic metronome
Marking time eternally
A footprint in our consciousness
Evidence of the possible

Safe in nature's cathedral
Whispers subdue the shouts
Emanating from the chaos
Of our unforgiving paradise

The watermark on each soul
Security against deception
Miracle or accident?
Intention over chance?

Off the beaten track I go
My mind guided by confusion
Coherence a mere memory
Faded and with edges curled

There is a frenzy here
Blissfully ignoring
The end

Re: New poem

Hey @Meowmy

I'm ok thanks - it's just a poem, really 🙂
(Certainly the words come from various places and moods etc...but this end product is just a point in time in the end).

But thanks for your concern. I hope you're well too

Re: New poem

@StuF hey Stuf, glad you're okay.am not too bad. There is always a risk guess. Life is fragile ha

Re: New poem

Thanks @greenpea !

Not sure I can 'explain' it...it all started with a visit to the Baha'i Temple- such stillness there- and just evolved from there. A lot of my writing is basically having fun with words and images...the 'coherence' is not always paramount...

Re: New poem

@greenpea

Further to that, my work generally means whatever it means to each reader 🙂

I chuck the words out there, I can't control how they're received
