hello @Zoe7 @Former-Member @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope @TheVorticon @Adge @Shaz51 @Former-Member @CheerBear @Former-Member @Former-Member @Sans911

and hopefully I have not missed anyone..apologies in advance if have

A lovely birthday party all......such imagination love it...mad hatter tea party fabulous...all of the pictures wow

effort from start to finish incredible

Why should I be surprised that people who have mental illnesses or have someone in their life with such illnesses show such compassion?

I have known this fact for the majority of my own illness.

If the outside world could only see what beautiful hearts and souls we have mental illness would improve tenfold..... biggest cause of suffering... lack of understanding..... stigma... rejection

so for my part I am so happy and proud to know you all and so many others on here, to have you in my life and hopefully to support you in return.

Zoe I haven't seen this side of you before as I havent really focussed on the fun side since joining. To be perfectly honest I have struggled so much with my son's issues that I had forgotten how to have fun. My trip away reuniting and meeting family for first time enabled me to feel that I am important too. An injection booster of self esteem.

I felt so dreadful yesterday with jetlag. So to find all of the lovely pictures and messages today has been very heartwarming.

Thank you all and again especially Zoe. I read somewhere in cyberspace that you had to have a rest too. I do hope that the love and appreciation shown to you will help you moving forward with your self-esteem. Feel the love and bathe in it. You deserve that.

Happy birthday Lunar now !!

Re: Mohill's Party Thread

We have family history in the same area of the UK @Former-Member .... just thought you might like to know. Visited old family homes (from the outside) at Christmas time while we were away. WH wasn't interested, but the kids and I took a car and went off exploring for a day.

I have family history from all over the UK, but one family line, the closest, was from that area.

Re: Mohill's Party Thread

@Faith-and-Hope

yes that is lovely to hear thank you for sharing

I had such beautiful walks on my own taking in the environment and getting a genuine feel for the place, transporting my mind back in time...magical

i felt this all over the uk though as i travelled and walked

i also learnt more  about myself...i feel that this has something to do with the intensity of my jet lag

i ate far too much, boy do they love their, cream teas, afternoon teas, cake, pudding, biscuits, dessert

nice to have a common thread other than emotions, illness etc etc must look at your far far away thread again when i have time... i forget all of the wonderful threads and posts from my beginnings on here that are all part of a haze.

i will allow myself time ... the new me!!!!!!!!!
