Love watching movies on rainy days, @Shaz51 what movies did you end up watching?
Getting a diagnosis is a big decision, hope it works in his favour and he can get support regardless!
My day's been pretty calm today. Might be going out with friends on the weekend, not sure if my social battery will survive it but we'll see ๐
What are you're plans for the weekend?

@tyme , thank you so much for your message. I have missed you guys too. Without the notifications emails I don't get the reminder to check the forums daily. Things are OK but we have been a bit tight financially so had to postpone our couple psychologist until end of September. I told my husband that it is important for him to keep his appointment with his psychologist this month. I will see if I have to postpone my EMDR therapy this month. Even with mental health plans the costs are large when you add everything else. Hopefully things start looking up by the end of September.
I feel the general weight of having to be there emotionally for everyone. As I was driving home from the shops I remembered something unkind my mother in law said to me after I lost my first baby. I had an ectopic pregnancy and almost died at the hospital. I thought to myself how differently I would approach that situation if my daughter in law went through something like that and how I would just hug her and tell her the most important thing is that she was alive and safe and that we had to be grateful.
My mother in law has no empathy whatsoever and says the most inappropriate and though less things.
So as I am driving home today I am telling myself that I will be the best mother in law I can and that I hope my kids want me in their lives.
I also thought how "every second counts" and how as long as I am alive there's always hope for things to be better and to connect with others.
How have you been? ๐ฅฐ

@Shaz51, rainy days ad movies or books are the best! I haven't watched any of the movies you mentioned. I will have to check them out.
What is ASD? I hope Mr Shaz is brave and gets his diagnosis. It was so much better for us to know my husband has cptsd. It provides answers and understanding. Hope for healing.
How is your sleep apnea?
No many plans this weekend except sleeping in tomorrow and basketball for my son on Sunday. I do have to do some decluttering tomorrow ๐ฉ...
Your dinner sounds so yummy!! We are having spinach and ricotta cannelloni and movie night tonight. Husband's choice tonight. We take turns the 4 of us choosing. Ladt week it was my turn and I chose a movie called Migration. It's a computer animated movie in Netflix. So cute and funny. Maybe give it a go if you enjoy cartoons?
Also how is retirement going for you and Mr Shaz? ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ

@Shaz51 , lol you made me laugh with your comment about Mr Shaz picking the movie . My husband's taste is not mine either! He has chosen Shaolin soccer which is a comedy and it's PG with no violence so the kids can choose it but it is so silly ๐.
