@Former-Member
The system is so screwed up! You need a diagnosis to get support, but it costs a lot to get the diagnosis!! Just more proof that no government takes mental health seriously. Unfortunately it means the most vulnerable get the short end of the stick... as always.

Re: Life and trauma
@MJG017 oh yeah i've seen a couple dragon ones too! one time i came across a paper stand... it was a 3D printed red lobster with 'The Rock' (Dwayne Johnson the actor/wrestler)'s head instead of lobster head... love everyone's unique creativity on there!
ooo love the fidget toys!!! and it's really love that you give them away to people. reminds me of one of my colleagues who 3D printed a bunch of fidget spinners and donated them schools and neurodiverse kids as well!
also that circular fidget spinner is sick!! haven't seen that one before.

Re: Life and trauma
@MJG017 this was supposed to be on better terms than this. But I found this picture yesterday and it reminded me of you and your partner. Thanks for all the support you have given me since I've been here. You helped me through some really dark days and nights and I'm so grateful for that. Anyway I managed to finish this for you through the tears and pain tonight. Thankyou again for everything.

Re: Life and trauma
Small prints like those fidgets dont use much filament or take very long to print. So you can make good money off them but its also make them qick and cheap to print for just giving away. I did those gyro ones for the neighbours and their mother sent me a photo of one of her daughters sitting on the floor, sbsolutely fascinated with the fidget i had printed for them. Both kids absolutely loved them. Thats worth far more to me than the money i could have charged for them. Its a pity i can't print some with the Sane logo and hand them out here to people who would enjoy them.

I showed my partner your artwork (just the photo) and she loved it... we both do. Thank you, it means a lot to me that you wanted to finish it through all your pain. It reminds me of all vibrant and chaotic energy that seems to burst out every time Luna gets excited and playful.... which at her age is pretty much all the time. 😁
Ive had some dark days myself and i know i have more coming, so i understand how difficult it can be, especially without many people around to lean on. I sill clearly remember many years where I had no one at all. So i feel its important that we can all support and help each other. So it is something that really does mean a lot to me that ive helped to lighten that load for you a little, and been able to provide some support in your fight.

Re: Life and trauma
@Former-Member @MJG017
Today was a difficult day for me. I wanted to talk to my psychologist about a trauma response I had to someone who came across very aggressive in a zoom meeting. However, unexpectedly that led to me trauma dumping on her a lot of my childhood trauma. I originally went to her because she specialises in trauma but I have been avoiding it. I guess I was waiting to see if I trusted her enough. Anyway this afternoon was rough. I really wanted to comfort eat afterwards but I resisted. I also need to get control over that!
