@Former-Member
I'm sorry... What!
Someone kicking you is not by any means ok! Regardless if you feel physically fine, you should get checked out if your breathing is affected.
A kick is no small amount of force...

Going to the hospital and having them document your injuries may help the police realise that this is serious and they're not doing their jobs if this happens.
They have a duty of care and their attitude to you does not sound like they're doing the jobs!
Your voice matters
You matter!

@avant-garde i understand what you are saying but this isn't the first time I've gone through this.
The only place my voice matters right now is here and that's ok.
I'm just picking the pieces up and trying to hold myself together, lots of duct tape required for that 😂.

@Former-Member this is by no means your fault!
You did what you felt was right!
Your actions say that you matter
And that is never wrong
They hurt you
And I don't like that they hurt you
But giving them what they want won't help...

@avant-garde it's a matter of choosing the lesser of 2 evils really. Either way there's no winning in that situation.

I can't really say anything more than what @avant-garde has already said. This is in no way your fault, and completely unacceptable. It was all very good advice. You certainly do have a voice here, and we're listening. But just remember that as much as it doesnt seem like it, you do have a voice outside of here as well.

@MJG017 thanks. I really don't have much of a voice outside of here though but that's ok. I'm at least listened to and cared about here.

@MJG017 @avant-garde this little critter is going to have to wait to be finished. I'm struggling to focus on colouring while crying, I just feel blah and not with it.
Time to try and watch some of my TV show and hopefully ease some of these thoughts.

We definitely listen and cate about you here. Look after yourself right now and we look forward to seeing the critter when is finished. Is it a chameleon? If so, what a perfect subject for your colouring art.
