Let's play a name game!
Hi guys,
For those of you that are unaware, I work on a Limousin cattle stud. Each year while we are weaning the calves we pick the good ones, to show, sell for breeding and so forth.
The names each year need to start with a particular letter. The calves born last year need names starting with "K", this years calves are "L".
As we'll be weaning in the next two weeks, I thought I'd ask around on here...
Anybody got ideas for names starting with K or L?? Prefer girl names more than boys, simply coz we keep far more females than males.
No name is too weird, we have a boy named Karrumba, and another called Krash Bam Boom.

Love the name LambChops. I had a steer when I was at school called Nugget. He was a little turd. I have a pic of me and him right before Parade, right as he stepped on my foot. You can see the look of pain and horror on my face, while he is bellowing and looks pretty pleased. 10 years later I still have a lump on my foot.

How about "Lactose" for a cow going in to the dairy industry, or "Kebab" for one hoping to contribute to the beef industry? 😛
I know, I'm awful.

@chibam the steers (castrated males going for meat) at the show next year will be "K" animals, so no doubt there will many "Kebabs"
Steers tend to get the funny names, as they are not around for long. 😢
