I have worked very hard to shorten myself and my posts ... in order to fit in to what is generally seen as normal, or maybe as a kind of masking as an aspie, or maybe I dont have a clue what normal is...? Your comprehensive style is lovely and feels familiar and caring, although I cannot always read it all. It takes all types, and even then we have some days with more time and attention than others. You have evolved an interesting thread, which is inclusive. Ita Great.

Hello to members of the "Hangar"
and other forum members visiting
Thank you so much for your activity in the thread, with discussion, comments and other observations, particularly, but not excusively, following reference to the "Cassie Jaye" video re
"The Red Pill" film;

and "Support"ers
@Emelia8 , @Anastasia , @Clawde , @Appleblossom , @Former-Member , @Meowmy , @greenpea , @StuF , @Dimity , @Snowie , @nony , @outlander ,
@StuF , There is a pretty good Wikipedia article on the film, “The Red Pill”, and background information as well as descriptions of how the film was received in various locations, including Australia. That article is on the site:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Red_Pill
“The title of the film refers to a scene in the film The Matrix, in which the protagonist is offered the choice of a red pill, representing truth and self-knowledge, or a blue pill representing a return to blissful ignorance.” from Wikipedia.
With a brief look around, the film is available to purchase, through YouTube, for about $14.00 AUS
I will be searching for more, and I will let members know if I find any other sources of information, as is also appreciated when anyone else feels that something they have seen may be of interest to others in this thread.
@Appleblossom , I watched Barbara Sher's presentation and enjoyed both the information and the way in which it was presented by her. I have added the link here, followed by a short synopsis:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2rG4Dg6xyI&ab_channel=TEDxTalks
"According to Barbara Sher we have to change our common understanding of why we so often fail to bring our dreams into reality – blaming bad attitude, negative thinking or lack of effort. Heartfelt, funny and surprising stories told by a lady who's been helping other people('s) {achieve their} dreams for many decades." {Script in purple and ( ) & { } brackets added by me}
I also looked at the story and acomplishments of John Ogden. Yes, I agree that it is truly a shame when someone of such talent is lost too soon. As is also true of the loss of any other person with attributes and qualities that, in like fashion, can never be expressed or fulfilled. I also understand that there are sensitivities, particularly for you, in this area.
Thank You Again to Everyone
With My Very Best Wishes

Hello @Emelia8
It may still be a little soon, but I wonder how you are going and whether you are beginning to notice any relief as a result of the recent procedure?
As always, I enjoy and appreciate your presence in forum activities.
I had a little freudian slip when I was completing my parting greeting. You may be aware that I ocassionally get a bit of a ribbing about my pseudonym. The question being whether the X in my pseudonym represents a 10 as in the Roman numeral, or a variable, as in algebraic functions. So when I was endeavouring to add my name to the parting greeting, your "8" must have been lurking near the surface and the X got replaced by an 8. And, for a moment, I became Henry8.
With My Very Best Wishes

Hi @HenryX or Henry8 😆
Thanks for asking ... No, there has been no improvement yet, as a result of the spinal injection. 😕
Hope soon it will kick in and provide even just a little bit of relief. This constant pain and lack of sleep is so exhausting.
Very hot here today 34C, and humid. Got storms around now and lots of rumbling going on.
I have been taking it easy today, and watching the cricket with air conditioning on.

In the hope that you may find the thread topics and style interesting and possibly engaging, a little different from other threads on the forum site, and possibly a place where you may feel comfortable discusing issues both of interest and of concern.
