Hello dear @HenryX
I hope you are well? I miss being more active here, I feel a bit out of the loop with things. What's been happening in your world?

Hello @Anastasia
We can each be as involved and engaged as our situation allows. Sometimes we are able simply to be aware of what is happening and enjoy or understand what others have to offer or present, at times more as observers, other times we can be more involved.
Thank you very much for your note and your enquiry about how I am going in my world. Yesterday, I went up to singing with residents at the Aged Care community. After that, and a little preparation, I went to speak with the counsellor with whom I am discussing issues that still impact on my life. However, while dealing with those issues, I am also appreciating and enjoying the continuing opportunities to learn more about myself and my interactions with others, past and present and as I project myself, mentally, into future activities and engagements, particularly with the people who are close to me in a family sense, but not always with or near me in the contact and awareness senses. The interaction, with the counsellor, and my developing understanding of my own life experiences can be, during the same hour and a half, all of enthusiastic, stimulating, distressing and draining. Consequently, the afternoon was pretty much a write-off after I had had something to eat and drink.
Last night, I managed a couple of responses that I wanted to get away, and then crashed.
I have just written a "Henry's little book" for which you will receive a notification tag. On the one hand I am conscious that you are dealing with some significant and distressing issues yourself, which, I believe, may be the reason for you feeling "a bit out of the loop with things." I hope that you would be aware of whatever "psychic" support, that I can offer, flows your way. At least you can know that it is my wish that may be so.
Your comments and occasional observations are always welcome and are a sign that you are "holding your own position" despite a difficult time. Thank you for your "tapping me on the shoulder" and saying "Hi".
With My Very Best Wishes, @Anastasia

Hello @Emelia8
I've just opened your photos. I particularly enjoy the photos of the flowers, quite a few marked unknown, but among them are Freesias, which I remember as a child, grew around my grandmother's garden. I have loved the appearance and aroma of Freesias since then. It was an interesting garden because there was plenty of water from a well, with what was probably, even then, an old style electric motor driving a pump by a long wide belt. The belt was changed onto a saw bench, with a circular instrument that I am not allowed to mention, of about a metre in diameter on it, to cut firewood. There were also various items of small farm equipment, such as chaff cutters and the like, around the yard. Most of it no longer used, even in the 50's when I first went there.
My grandmother moved out to an area about a third of the way from the city of Perth toward the low hills of the Darling Ranges, that are about 20 km East of Perth. That was in the mid 30's. The range which runs North-South, parallel to the coastline, was caused by earthquake fault/volcanic activity "a very long time ago". The very weathered Western edge is referred to as the Darling Scarp (Escarpment). All around the area of my grandmother's house, outside the area that was green because of the butterfly sprinklers, there was dry sand with almost no nutritional value for plants.
My parents had a house built nearby and we lived there during my primary school and lower secondary years before going to live in Victoria.
Just a few thoughts to share with you, first recalled this evening because of the Freesias in your photographs.
Thank you for the opportunity to reflect on that time and the good memories evoked.
With My Very Best Wishes

Freesia's were my mums favourite flower @HenryX ๐๐ท I recall buying a bag of freesia bulbs to give to her for mothers day one year. I guess I would have been 5 or 6yo at the time. Then she let me help to plant them.

Hello @Anastasia
The "Henry's little book" {is my euphemistic reference to anything that I write which is a long passage} is at
https://saneforums.org/t5/Social-Spaces/Good-Morning/m-p/1122788#M267952
I apologise, because I had automatically thought that I had included your forum address. I have now, but the reference above will also take you to that post.
I had been thinking mainly of people who frequent that thread but did not wish to leave out any people with whom I normally correspond. Head in clouds!!!
With My Very Best Wishes

In @Emelia8 's words
โGood morning everyone and may today be one of your happy days.โ
In @Anastasia 's words
โParty girls without the party!!!โ
I know that there may be a few of us who do not qualify as members of the โgirlsโ category, but may we join in too?
I hope that we may be able to enjoy the activity of a virtual party, maybe for the weekend so that anyone who cannot join in tonight can do so tomorrow.
Being aware that it is after 11.00 pm this Saturday night for some people.
The following are presentations offered by @Mumi . I'm not sure whether she is nearby at the moment, but I hope that @Mumi will not mind us enjoying both the humour and the beauty in these two graphics. It is certainly, I would believe, our collective hope that @Mumi is well, as we also extend Best Wishes to everyone on the forum.
We share an environment that can be demanding and nurturing. Maybe we can extend the nurturing, encouraging, supportive, enjoyable aspects of who we are, during the weekend as well as further on.
Now so that I do not have time to write another of โHenry's Little Booksโ, I think that I should post this invitation straight away.
Please invite others who you may think would enjoy the interaction.
Cheers
