Had a nice day out for lunch with my daughter today, at a new tavern close by. Then did a bit of shopping with her.

Is it travelling in general or a particular place you would like to go. I think I recall you saying recently that you would like to go to New Zealand.

The whole scene has changed over the last couple of decades with taverns developing a client base through really good meals and a pleasant environment, instead of the old "bar and nibblies". it makes going out for lunch so much more pleasant. Great that you were able to enjoy the time for lunch and shopping with your daughter.

Travelling to New Zealand is my dream, especially for the cooler weather and to go snow skiing, ice skating etc.  @HenryX  

The tavern is very nice. It looks more like a restaurant than a pub. Lovely setting. 

Would love to travel to Scandinavia again and other countries, but I'm not keen on sitting on a plane that long. 

Good you have your interest in planes. We have an aircraft museum locally. War planes etc. Very interesting to visit. I'll see if I can find some photos sometime in the near future. 😊
